One channel, and what to put in it
Lavmio has no support desk, no ticket system and no public inbox address. Everything goes through a single feedback form, which keeps the site small and keeps conversations in one place where they can actually be answered.
Open the feedback form ↗The form is hosted by Tally and opens in a new window. Email is optional — but without one, no reply can reach you. The form automatically records which page or tool you were using, so you do not need to describe where you were.
What to include
A report that can be acted on usually contains four things:
- Which page or tool. The address, or the name of the space, is enough.
- What you expected. The result you thought you would get.
- What happened instead. Any warning, wrong value, blank screen or silent failure.
- What you were working with. File type, approximate size, and browser — not the file itself.
Please do not send passwords, confidential documents, personal data about other people, or files you are not entitled to share. Tool files are never attached to a feedback message automatically, and we do not want them.
Reporting a problem with a guide
Guide collections point outward, so the failures are usually outward too: a record that has moved, a date that is wrong, a caption that no longer matches the page, or a rights statement that has changed. Tell us the record title and the guide it appears on. If a source has been withdrawn entirely, the fix is normally to remove the link and say so rather than swap in a substitute.
If you believe a description on this site overstates what a source shows — a common failure when summarising a photograph or a catalogue entry — say which sentence and what the source actually supports. Those corrections are the most valuable reports we get.
Reporting a problem with a tool
For a tool, include the input shape rather than the input itself: for example "a 4,000-row CSV with quoted fields containing commas" rather than the file. Mention your browser and whether the problem is consistent or occasional. If a result looked plausible but was wrong, that is more important than a visible error, and worth reporting even without a reproduction.
Privacy and deletion requests
Requests to correct or delete a feedback message you previously sent go through the same form. Identify the earlier message by its approximate date and subject, and state what you want done. Because there are no accounts and no stored tool input, those messages are the only records that can be acted on.
How much the site collects, and how to withdraw analytics consent, is set out in the privacy policy.
What to expect
Replies are not guaranteed, but leaving an email address makes one possible. Reports that describe a reproducible defect are prioritised over feature suggestions, and corrections to a factual claim on a page are prioritised over requests to add a link. There is no commercial enquiry route: Lavmio does not sell placement, reviews or links, so those requests have nothing to buy.
